Everett Bogue (Photographer) currently works as an associate photo editor at nymag.com, the website complimenting New York Magazine, where he oversees the photography on New York's four blogs: Daily Intelligencer, Grub Street, The Cut and Vulture. He graduated from New York University '06 where he studied print journalism (with a side of blogging) and somehow also miraculously acquired a degree in dance. Previous to employment at New York Media he was an editorial intern at nymag.com, and an intern at Gawker Media.

Ren Casey (Videographer) is a Tisch graduate who works in theatre, music, and film production.  He has worked as the chief editor for the webisodic series "Remaking the Video" and freelances as a promotional and demo reel writer/editor.  He has just finished a full-length script for a movie-musical called "Graveyard Shift", a sort of "Shaun of the Dead"meets "Little Shop of Horrors" meets "Sweeney Todd".  For more information on this or any other project, please contact cabineleven@gmail.com.

Jacob Peter Kovner (Choreographer/ Blogger) has a background in competitive figure skating. As a dancer, he has studied at Connecticut College and the Tisch School of the Arts, as well as in the Tanz Im August Festival, the Impulstanz Festival and the Winter MELT Festival. Jacob has studied with Meg Stuart, John Jasperse, David Dorfman, Lisa Race and Georg Reichsl (The Forsythe Company), Gus Solomons jr, Phyllis Lamhut and Andrea Woods, as well as many others. He has been making work all along, creating pieces previously shown at Tisch and Connecticut College. Jacob will be showing his work this summer at the Tank and DTW.

Dorian Nuskind-Oder (Videographer) is a New York City-based artist working in the fields of dance performance, choreography and video. As a member of Chris Elam's Misnomer Dance Theater for three seasons, Dorian has appeared in New York at Skirball Center for the Performing Arts, PS 122, and DTW, and on tour across the states and abroad. Her own choreography has been presented at the Mulberry St. Theater (upcoming), Joyce Soho, Dixon Place, The Flea Theater, Merce Cunningham Studios, Dancenow/nyc, and Springboard Monreal (Quebec). Currently, Dorian works as a freelance videographer, editor and online media consultant. She has worked with many choreographers, companies, and organizations including: dancenow/nycMisnomer Dance TheaterJenny RochaGallim DancePOW! Arts, and Alison Clancy.Dorian also worked as an assistant editor on the experimental independent film, "Four Eyed Monsters", which was nominated for two 2006 Spirit Awards and won the Indiewire "Hidden Gems" Showcase. Jessy Smith (Choreographer/ Blogger) a native to woodsy Hudson, Ohio, graduated with honors from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.   She is the artistic director of POW! (www.POW-Arts.com), an all-female dance and design company devoted to entertaining the masses.  When not choreographing, Jessy finds herself both educating youth as a teaching artist and welcoming international guests to Hotel DeKalb, her most recent venture in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. 

Bergen Wheeler (Dancer/ Blogger) is an MFA candidate in the Dance Department of Tisch School of the Arts, New York University. She has had the privilege of working with many choreographers, including Hope Boykin, Jamie Bishton, Gus Solomons jr, Mark Dendy, Christopher House, and Peggy Baker. As a demonstrator for Milton Myers, Bergen traveled and taught at Juilliard, the Ailey/Fordham Program, LaGuardia Performing Arts High School, Philadanco, Steps on Broadway, and Jacob's Pillow, as well as abroad in Canada, Norway, Paris and Greece. Prior to returning to NYC, Bergen was on the dance faculty at Elon and Duke Universities. This past summer she had the opportunity to work with Stefanie Nelson and Sidra Bell at the Bessie Schonberg Choreographer's Residency at the Yard.

Ashley Browne (Administrator) a native of Los Angeles, is a graduate of New York University, Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Dance. As a choreographer, Browne's work has been preformed for the past three years in numerous festivals in New York and Los Angeles. As a performer, Ashley is currently working with Keigwin + Company and Danielle Russo Dance Company. Browne is currently working with Battleworks Dance Company and Keigwin + Company on their administrative staff. The goal was to be doing what she loves, and thankfully she loves it even more. 

Brittany Beyer (Administrator) trained as a dancer since childhood, attending Interlochen Arts Academy for high school and receiving her BFA in Dance Performance from Tisch School of the Arts/ New York University. She has performed in the works of Balanchine, Trisha Brown, Nacho Duato, Gus Solomons Jr, Johannes Wieland, Sharon Randolph- among others. Brittany was a founding member of Johannes Wieland's company, and volunteered administratively while dancing with the company in Europe and the US from 2001 until 2005. She is an administrative manager in her daytime life, but is interested in marketing and administrative aspects of the dance world, working as an advising member of the BattleWorks Think Tank and as a member of the Tisch East Alumni Council. Brittany is also developing a blog, entitled DanceComm.com,  discussing issues that affect dancer's personal and professional lives.



The Tisch East Alumni Council exists to support the unique needs of Tisch Alumni in the arts and entertainment community, creating interdisciplinary and cross-generational relationships, and increasing alumni visibility by coordinating the talent, expertise, time and financial resources of East Coast alumni.
