Click the Media Player graphic to the right to download. |

Download Video Clip
Each Salsa dance combination has its own web page. On the right side of each of these pages, you will see a box that says, "Watch video clip by selecting desired video quality" [Click to view sample]. If you have a high-speed Internet connection, you will want to download the "Best" quality video. If you use a dial-up modem, experiment with the different versions to see how long it takes you to download each video file. While all versions offer good quality video and audio, the "Best" version lets you watch high quality video in full-screen mode.
You can either click on the desired link to start watching the video. Or, you can download the entire video file to your computer. To download, put your cursor over the desired video file. Click your right mouse button. In the pop-up menu that appears (see example in graphic to the right), click "Save Target As.." and save the file to the desired directory on your computer. If you save the video file to your "Desktop", it will be easier for you to find this video clip. |

Play Video Clip
Once you've downloaded a video clip, go to the directory where you saved the clip and double click the file to start watching it. Or, launch Windows Media Player. To start Media Player, click the "start" button at bottom left of your screen, click "All Programs" and then click "Windows Media Player" - the graphic in your list of available programs looks like this:

Once Media Player opens, select "File" from top left of window, click on "Open..." and then go to the directory where you saved your dance combo video. Once you select the video, it should play automatically. If it does not start, click the "play" button as indicated in the graphic to the right. |

The Pause Button
The pause button (see graphic on right) and the horizontal scroll button (see next item below) are the most powerful tools for mastering dance moves and techniques. Once a video clip starts, the "Play" button is replaced with the "Pause" button. The "Pause" button is encircled in the graphic to the right. While the video is playing, you can press the "Pause" button to freeze the action and examine in detail the technique and position of the dancers. Then, push the "Play" button to resume the action. |

The Horizontal Scroll Bar
While a video clip is playing, you can click on and drag the horizontal scroll bar either forward or backward. The most common way to use the scroll bar is to repeat a dance move you just watched. To do this, click and hold the scroll bar with your left mouse button and drag the scroll bar a little to the left and then release your mouse button. By using the scroll bar in conjunction with the pause button, you can re-watch moves, footwork and techniques until you've mastered a dance combo.
