Ballet Companies on MySpace

I've been spending time going through MySpace lately to see how popular it is for dancers and dance companies. I was surprised by how many dance companies have set-up MySpace pages, which often include lots of pictures and videos.

If you go to the left-hand column of my home page, you'll see that I've included links to just over 20 ballet companies on my space. I'll add these MySpace links to all of the pages on my site soon. Also, I'll add modern and other dance company MySpace pages as well.

If you have a dance company MySpace page or know of ones I should include, please let me know.

I don't understand MySpace that well ... am going to have to read up on how useful it is to have a page there, in addition to your blog, for networking and promotional purposes, etc. A friend recently sent me a link to a favorite dancer's MySpace page and it kind of freaked me out (his wasn't set up as a promotional tool to further his dance career; it was completely for friendship purposes, but he opened it up to the public) -- I think of some dancers (especially him!) kind of as celebrities and it was like seeing Brad Pitt's page or something!
