I'm Now a Mac Person

I've converted!

After using Microsoft DOS/Windows for more years than I can count, I've joined the ranks of Apple Addicts.

Apple TV Commercia - PC Vs. Mac

I just bought a MacBook Pro.

And I can't imagine buying another copy of Microsoft Office. There's really no point since I can use Google's hosted applications to create documents and spreadsheets.

I'm off to explore my new life...

Congrats Doug!

You'll certainly be better off now and always. :)

If you want an office suite on your computer, but don't want Microsoft software on your computer try NeoOffice - it is a Mac version of OpenOffice. You can get it off of the Apple site. Its free and works pretty well for everything that I use it for (text documents, simple flyers, etc..).

I love my macbook pro! except having to replace the fan twice in 1 year. Welcome! What I want to know is if you could really truly exist without MS Office and be compatible with the rest of the world?
Cheers, Rebecca

NeoOffice, or OpenOffice, can save to and open documents from MS Office with no problem, or I haven't had any problems. And, did I mention, its free. : )

You're gonna love it!

Love it, love it, love it.

OpenOffice rocks.

My Mac is named June.

Sigh.

I love my June.
