Daniel Burkholder Bio
Daniel Burkholder explores the creation, teaching and performance of improvisational dance.
Daniel Burkholder is a Washington, DC dancer, choreographer and improviser. He is the Co-director of Improv Arts, inc. and the director of The PlayGround, an improvisational based dance group. His work has been commissioned by The John. F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, CrossCurrents Dance Company, Montgomery College and Dance Place. He teaches at University of Maryland College Park and Joy of Motion Dance Centers. He has degrees from Sarah Lawrence College, American University, Moving on Center/School for the Participatory Arts, and is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner(cm).
